ABOUT US

Tim's first career was serving others as a firefighter and paramedic. Retiring after 35 years of service at the rank of District Chief, he looks forward to carrying on that service in a new way.  Serving others with healthy fresh made baked goods, along with the salads, soups, sandwiches, coffee and espresso that Great Harvest is well known for.  Colleen's first career was teaching and counseling with CCISD.  Colleen now has a practice in Clear Lake.  Tim and Colleen were both born and raised in the area, and have called League City home for the last 30 years. 

We did a lot of searching for our first location and downtown Friendswood is the perfect place.  This Great Harvest Bread Co. in Friendswood is a dream come true — our dream! Our passion for great tasting, nutritious bread, and our desire to run a community-based business, led us to Great Harvest. They have been making great bread for communities across the U.S. over 40 years.

Our Great Harvest looks like no other Great Harvest out there. Your going to love the way our store looks and feels, warm & inviting, with the smell of fresh bread in the air!  We operate under a “Freedom Franchise.” The “Freedom” part means that we get to run our business in a way that meets our community’s unique needs. The “Franchise” part gives us access to the recipes and processes that Great Harvest has continuously improved for over three decades. The result is breads and sweets that will knock your socks off!

While we loved our first careers, we knew it was time to move on.  So several years ago we made the decision to pursue our dreams and start new careers. So, we said good-bye to Corporate America, kicked the preverbial suit and tie and are now up to our elbows in dough. We’re excited to bring this tradition to you, our neighbors and friends.
